Google’s AI Overviews has added 500 million new monthly users since May, CEO Sundar Pichai said during the company’s Q2 2025 earnings call. The feature now reaches 2 billion people monthly across 200 countries.

Gemini, the company’s AI application, has expanded to 450 million active users, with daily activity growing more than 50% from the first quarter.

Monthly AI processing has surged from 480 trillion tokens in May to 980 trillion in July.

Pichai said the momentum shows continued strong engagement with AI capabilities.
